    No, the 9000 Series Switched Rack PDU will install toollessly in a APC NetShelter 42U and above height rack enclosure. Additional mounting brackets are provided for installation in third party racks. An additional bracket (AR7711) is available for purchase for even more flexibility and mounting positions in NetShelter and 3rd party racks.

  • Are the 9000 Series Switched Rack PDUs customizable with different outlets, colors, etc?

With Industry leading reliability, manageability, and security, APC Switched Rack PDU's provide advanced load management plus on/off outlet level power cycling and sequencing control.

Switched Rack PDUs enable advanced, customizable power control and active monitoring for datacenter and edge environments. Remote outlet level control allows on/off power cycling to remotely reboot equipment and restrict unauthorized use of individual outlets to reduce downtime. Outlet power sequencing and grouping allow users to specify the order of device power up or down to avoid circuit overload due to inrush current and/or load shed to conserve energy. Power metering provides real-time remote monitoring of connected loads with alarms to warn of potential overloads.
