Sports Math

Sports Math is a collection of games designed to let students practice their math skills under the enthusiastic direction of sports desk anchor Les Dynam and roving reporter Sam Mathews who introduce each game and comment on the action and progress.  Kick a "fractioned" soccer ball through a goal post or measure your skill at long jump in meters; it's all about using math skills in everyday life until taught concepts are fully learned!




Percentages Made Easy

Percentages Made Easy has five interactive math games: Ski Jump, Magic Shop, Pizza Topper, Computer Virus and Treasure Hunter.  Each game focuses on a different aspect of percentages: locating percentages on a number line, calculating percentages to find a sales price, graphically representing percentages, identifying equivalent percentage/fractions/decimals, or solving percentage word ("story") problems.  A Parent/Teacher Option section allows for customization of the program with specific percentage sets and/or specific games to play.
