Customize your workspace using multi-windows:
PCStitch Pro features a flexible easy-to-use workspace, completely customizable
to your individual creative needs. Panels give you instant access to
instructions, notes, the palette and other parts of your design. Float the
panels, move them to different places, or set them up to slide out when needed,
giving you ultimate designing environment.
Create a pattern from a scanned photo or other graphics image:
PCStitch can take almost any graphic image and convert it into a cross-stitch
pattern. You determine the size and number of colors, and let PCStitch do the
rest! The colors are automatically mapped to the floss. Convert something as
simple as a piece of clipart, or something as complex as a photograph!
Unmatched support of basic and specialty stitch types:
Basic stitches supported include full, half, quarter, three quarter, and petite,
as well as French knots and beads. A flexible backstitch mode allows you to
anchor your stitches anywhere in the grid locations. Specialty Stitches are a
breeze to create and use with PCStitch Pro.
Objects, objects, objects…..
The professional version of PCStitch supports objects. What are objects? They
are best explained with an example. A specialty stitch or a library piece is a
combination of multiple basic stitches. Pro combines these stitches together and
lets you move them as one. It works the same way with library pieces. Now, when
you drop a tree from a library into your design, you can move the tree with a
simple click and drag. Also, objects are “on top” of your design area, so
moving them does not disturb stitches below them.
Include more information in your designs: Introducing Pattern Notes!
Pattern Notes are a new feature in PCStitch Pro. Start by dropping a visual icon
anywhere on your design grid, then include text and graphic images to explain to
a stitcher what might happen in that area. An example of a note may be the
location of a button or other embellishment. The Icon shows the stitcher where
to put the button. The note panel can give the stitcher special instructions and
even show a picture of the button!
More printout capabilities than ever before!
PCStitch Pro Printouts are Awesome! Now, you can include the floss legend on the
printed grid page and place it on the sides or along the bottom. Define a shaded
overlap section from page to page. Our optimized sizing feature lets the
software figure out the best way to print the grid for you. And, you can even
include your own logo or other promotional graphic in the pattern information
sheet.
Design Interface

the stitches behind it.
Right-click any object and optionally
merge it to the background, allowing you to modify it.
