Global Nuclear Domination Game

A stunning online multiplayer simulation of global thermonuclear war.  You play the role of a military Commander hidden deep within an underground bunker. Your mission - to successfully exterminate your enemy's civilian population whilst disabling their ability to attack your own. Start by launching your battleships, subs and bombers in order to decimate your opponent's defenses. Scramble together your alliances but remember only one can stand victorious.

Prepare your pre-emptive strike before one of your supposed allies gets the same idea. Choose the perfect moment for betrayal, obliterating your opponents with an apocalyptic thermonuclear barrage, but get it wrong and their devastating counter attack will bring you to your knees!

It's Global Thermonuclear War, and nobody wins. But maybe - just maybe - you can lose the least.

Inspired by the 1983 cult hit, War Games, DEFCON puts you right in the middle of the Cold War era.  Your success and ultimate survival are on the line.  Can you dominate or will you crumble under the pressure and paranoia?  Compete as 1 of 6 superpowers embroiled int he largest military conflict imaginable!

  • Position naval fleets including battleships and aircraft carriers to protect your coastline.
  • Bombard the enemy with nuclear warheads from offshore submarines.
  • Deploy ground radar, fighters and bombers to scout and eliminate enemy aircraft.
  • Global Thermonuclear War would not be complete without the ability to form alliances with opponents!
  • Nuke Silos are at the ready to level complete cities from long range.
  • Strategically time and coordinate defensive maneuvers.
  • Plus:  Office Mode, easily play with co-workers - one key kill switch keeps it covert!
  • Play online or play alone
  • Choose your territory
  • Make and break alliances
  • Arrange your defenses
  • Mobilize your forces
  • Scope out the enemy...select your targets...then strike!
