• Reporting Improvements: Now you can work with your reports more effectively and see more information. Easily select more fields to include on your report, expand your filtering options and sort your reports by more fields than ever! You can also run key reports such as the General Ledger and the Working Trial Balance using any date range within the two open fiscal years, for example from Jan 7 to Jan 14. The drill-down capabilities on many reports has either been added or enhanced as well.
  
• Forms Design Improvements: Now you have a more flexible way to customize your forms such as invoices, sales orders or quotes for a more professional representation of your business. Improvements such as add fields, colors, logos and other information with a new, simple design screen.
  
• Flexible Unit and Quantity Decimal Settings:  If you manage inventory in your business, you can now set up Peachtree so that you have different decimal setting requirements for units and for quantities. For either the unit or the quantity, you can select the number of decimal places up 5 places!
  
• Add Attachments: If you have files associated with information in Peachtree, such as customers, vendors, employees and inventory items, you can now save copies of these files in the Peachtree record to help you stay more organized. Most standard types of files are supported, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Word files, photographs or scanned documents, so that you can include virtually any information you would like in Peachtree.
  
• Hide Navigation Centers: The Peachtree navigation centers have been improved to allow for a persistent ‘hide’ option for the Business Center and other navigation screens. With the improvement, customers can now work the way they want to and choose to permanently "hide" or “show” the Business Status Center and other pages like Employees & Payroll or Inventory & Services. This reduces the amount of information that you see and improves the performance when you start up Peachtree.

• Broadcast Invoices: Save time on billing with the ability to save one sales invoice for multiple customers. Progress Billing
Better manage your cash flow with Progress Billing. Bill your customers during the job cycle calculated on either of the following milestones: a percentage based on the total estimated job revenue, percentage completed or percentage based on the job proposal. Peachtree will now allow you to create invoices based on the job's current progress.

Serialized Inventory Tracking
Assign serial numbers to specific individual inventory items when creating transactions and maintain detailed records for tracking, recall, and warranty purposes. You can also track actual cost of each serialized item for more accurate profit measure.

Archive Company Data
You can archive your data electronically so that you can access detailed company data and financial statements from closed years. Peachtree software maintains the integrity of this information by allowing data to be viewed but not changed.

Departmentalized Financial Statements
Easily define your chart of account structure so that you can view your reports by department or product line. Peachtree allows you to define up to 5 account segments, such as departments or product lines. When running financials, you can easily select which department or segment you need information on.

Company Consolidation Wizard
Easily manage multiple businesses within a single organization, with the flexibility to still maintain a separate set of books for each! Get the insight to how your business is operating overall with consolidated financial statements such as Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and track actuals vs. budget at a consolidated company level.

Create Multiple Budgets
Improve your ability to analyze the state of your business. Using the new Comparative Budget Spreadsheet Creator create several different versions of your budgets to better manage your business. You can track up to four budget years and easily make revisions and measure variances along the way.

Employee Raise Tracking
Stay on top of your employee records with the flexible tracking of raises and any notes regarding raises or performance reviews. You can also track history with the Compensation History Report.

Multi-User

• Multi-user mode is optimized for Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 client-server networks, and Windows 2000/XP peer-to-peer networks. A maximum of 5 licensed named users are allowed. A named user account is granted a license when selected in the user maintenance screen.

Terminal Services

• Windows 2000 or 2003 Server along with Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Desktop Web Connection client is required to run in a Windows Terminal Services environment¹. No more than 5 named users

Other

• Customer registration and acceptance of Sage Software License Agreement for Peachtree Accounting Software Products

¹ Terminal Server requires additional memory when more than one user is running under Windows Terminal Services. An additional 21 MB RAM is recommended for each additional user.
