Boxes, Boxes, Everywhere! is a Christian book filled with inspiration and fun.  Moving can be a confusing experience for young children because they don’t always understand what’s happening. Here children ages 2-4 learn that moving doesn’t have to be so scary. 

Author Crystal Bowman brings together a heartwarming, inspirational story that will help your little one understand that moving really isn't so bad after all.




Poet and author Crystal Bowman began writing books for children after she had spent 13 years raising her three. Her wealth of life experiences with her kids, plus journals she kept of the funny and touching things they say and do, give her a well of ideas she taps continually. Crystal's topics also come from her own childhood memories.  When Crystal wrote her first poem at 10 years old, her teacher said, "Someday, you're going to be a poet." A seed was planted. Crystal cherished the thought that she was good at something.

When Crystal was teaching preschool, she took graduate courses in child development. It was in a Children's Literature class that Crystal discovered and developed her love for children's books. On a children's story Crystal wrote for an assignment, her professor gave her constructive criticism that would later help tremendously in her writing. She encouraged Crystal to polish her words, to choose each one carefully, to stop and think about each word. "Two rhyming words don't make a poem," her professor said. But she also said to Crystal, "Someday you should write books for children."  And write she does, with 10 books currently in print and more due out soon. She enjoys speaking and writing for moms as well, but her greatest delight is writing for children.
