The Prince of Persia makes his way home to Babylon, bearing with him Kaileena, the enigmatic Empress of Time, and unspeakable scars from the Island of Time. But instead of the peace he longs for, he finds his kingdom ravaged by war and Kaileena the target of a brutal plot. When she is kidnapped, the Prince tracks her to the Palace - only to see her murdered by a powerful enemy. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time, which strike the Prince and threaten to destroy everything he holds dear. Cast to the streets, hunted as a fugitive, the Prince soon discovers that the Sands have tainted him, too. They have given rise to a deadly Dark Prince, whose spirit gradually possesses him.

Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones Characters:

Prince:  The Prince is back from the Island of Time, where he prevented the creation of the Sands of Time.  An epic hero fulfills his destiny.  through the game, he will grow as a person, and learn compassion, sacrifice, honor, and restraint.  Free his city from an evil invader and eventually save his citizens.

Kaileena: In Warrior Within, the Prince met Kaileena, the Empress of Time.  They left the Island of Time together and headed back to Babylon.  However, Kaileena is soon captured and killed by an evil enemy.  since she embodies the Sands of Time, the Sands were once again released and caused devastation among many.  But given her supernatural nature, Kaileena never completely disappears. she continues to stay throughout the story as a narrator.

Farah: It's been seven years since the Farah we know from The Sands of Time.  She has grown during these years and has come to Babylon against her will.  However, because the events in the Sands of Time never happended (the Prince rewinded time at the end), the Prince has a tremendous emotional bond to Farah but she does not recognize him at all.  She is compassionate, quick-witted, and strong; also more mature than the Farah you may know from The Sands of Time.  She seeks to take revenge against the evil that has taken her to Babylon and that subsequently occupied the city.  However, her compassionate nature often leads her to save the suffering citizens first.

The Old Man:  He has looked after the Prince since his childhood, treating him like his own son.  While the Prince's friends have come and gone over the years, the Old Man has stayed true to our hero, and often acted as his mentor.

Enemies:

• Sand Guard - standard fighting and patrolling enemy
• Sand Archers - Distance fighting enemy who can use arrows as well as elements in the environment
• Hunter Hounds - Wolf-like creatures that can absorb sands or health
• Reptus - Previously outcasts that live in the sewers and catacombs
• Chamaleons - Similar to Reptus, but with ability to camouflage themselves against the environment
• Enchantress - Seductresses that are in constant dance-like motions
• Illusion - Sorceress that likes to play tricks on the Prince
• Klompa - Previously a general; now occupied in the arena and keeps many Babylon people captive
• Twin Warriors - Powerful generals that almost fight as one
• Mahasti - Trusted general of the enemy troop; responsible for embedding the Daggertail onto the Prince's body
