Puzzles & Riddles is filled with way over 1000 puzzles, including music,
narration, movies, photographs, drawings, and hundreds of classic word puzzles
including charades, rebuses, riddles, hidden places, letter chops,, enigmas, and
much more! In addition to presenting a wide variety of traditional
puzzles, entirely new puzzle categories were invented for this
collection.

Never-Ending Riddles
Each box is full of different riddles.
Rebus Riot!
There's a different Rebus Riot set in each box. Contains literary and
pictorial puzzles.
Hidden Places
Click on any planet to explore. This type of puzzle will not only test
your puzzle solving skills, but also your knowledge of geography.
Audio Graffiti
Every letter and symbol is a different audio graffiti - 49 total! Someone
said something, but it got all scrambled up. Can you figure out who said
this scrambled quote?
Movie Memory
Each of the little film clips in the squares provided is a different movies.

There is a different mirror or fracture in each box. Click on any box -
can you tell what it is a picture of?
3-D Double Takes
Each box has a different 3-D double take in it. Click on the boxes to
explore.
Enigmas
The puzzles describe a word in a way similar to a riddle. It's sometimes
phrased in verse, other times as prose, and often in a way that is furthest from
the answer.
Letter Chops
These fun little verses described a word that, when the first letter is removed,
or "chopped off," a different word is left.
Historic Encyclopedia of Puzzles
From ancient times and places. There are seven boxes, each one full of
puzzles. These puzzles are presented exactly as they appeared in historic
books throughout the ages. The language is odd...the puzzles are hard.

Charades
The same concept as the game you play where you act out the parts of a word or
phrase, and the others try and guess what it is. This is a similar idea,
except this in written form. Many of these puzzles are written out as
poems and describe certain aspects of a word.
Wacky Words
Some parts are spoken backwards. You can click on the word 'HUH' to repeat
the backwards parts. Click the correct phrase when you know a backwards
part. By clicking on the professor, you can hear the full Wacky Word.
Lost Letter Departments
Using a common phrase, every first letter of each word in the phrase has been
remove or lost. All punctuation has also been removed. To make it
more confusing, one letter words, e.g., I have also been removed. The
phrases have also been grouped into three
JR Originals
Contains 20 original puzzles. These puzzles are of varying degrees of
difficulty.
Where's That Sound?
Click on one of the four selections. Move the cursor around the picture to
hear a sound. Remember what you hear, and where you heard it. You
will be looking for a specific sounds given to you.
Mixed Up Quotes
Play for excerpts and try and figure out the order they go in a click on the
answer to see if you are right. Go to the next quote and test your

A collection of puzzles of various types. Each puzzle in this section is
interesting, unusual or historic in some way. In most cases, these puzzles
are either hard, or odder, or just simply different enough that they have their
own category.

- Search: The Search feature is very powerful. Simply type in
any word or phrase you want to look up, for example, ancient, music,
Shakespeare, etc. You'll get a list of all the topics that have what
you're looking for.
- Index: There are many indexes; each one is an alphabetical list of
some sort, either one of the minor indexes such as Never-Ending Riddles or
Rebus Riot, or the Master Index which has all of the puzzles on the disc --
way over 1000 of them! Using the Master Index is an easy, quick way to
look up a specific puzzle that you are interested in.
- Help: The Help Button will always pop up a short description of the
puzzle category, and perhaps offer some historical background and/or puzzle
solving tips.
- Audio: Spread throughout the disc are audio clips of various sorts:
narrations, sound effects, music, and so on. Some of this audio is
background only, while other audio is part of the puzzle. There is
actually an entire concert tucked away, inside the 3-D Double Takes
section.
- Graphics: There is a very large collection of photos and graphics
integrated into this encyclopedia. You can see these photos by
clicking whenever you see instructions to do so.
- Movies: There is a Movie Memories section that is part of the
Encyclopedia. You can view these movies by clicking directly on the
opening picture of the movie.
