Hiigaran
Having reclaimed their homeworld after generations in exile, the Hiigarans are
now in the throes of the Dust Wars. The prolonged conflict and general
disillusionment following the Homecoming have divided the former Exiles.
Battling local warlords and confronting a new and menacing foe in the Vaygr,
they debate an ancient prophecy that impels them back across the galaxy to
fulfill their destiny.
Vaygr
Bent on cosmic domination, this formidable warrior race from the galaxy's
eastern fringes threatens the Hiigarans' very existence in the name of Sajuuk.
The Vaygr roam the galaxy subjugating the races they encounter and cannibalizing
their technology. This nomadic way of life is reflected in their military
organization. A fast, mobile, and overwhelmingly offensive force, the Vaygr,
rather than obeying the orders of a high commander, are assembled into smaller,
less cohesive fleets of ships.
An innovative 3D engine generates cinematic-quality graphics, stunning special

In the dynamic 3D universe of Homeworld 2 the awe-inspiring phenomena of deep
space – giant asteroids, huge derelicts, murky gas clouds, and vast nebulae
– pulse with the energy that permeates the cosmos. These fully interactive
phenomena – some strategically helpful and others fraught with danger – add

Two all-new customizable battle fleets, each with unique capabilities and
