Open Ended Universe
The Universe is open for exploration. The game evolves based on the decision you
make. More than just linear combat. Commodity trading turns the gears of the
universe. Mining planets churn out valuable minerals and agriculture planets
cultivate grain. Find the best trade routes and profit. Political intrigue permeates
almost every aspect of the game.
Dynamic Character Development
Freelancer has a major role-playing element. Your reputation constantly changes
and evolves with the outcome of each mission. You can act like a bounty hunter,
trader, pirate or explorer. Different ships are available based on the cultural
location and player's reputation. And ships' guns, missiles, shields, etc. can
be upgraded.
Fun, Mouse-driven Combat
The most fun air combat ever in the PC game. Use the mouse to master the
intricacies of space combat via a simple and intuitive mouse driven interface.
