• Battle Chess II Chinese Chess is a DOS Based title. It runs through Windows 95 in MS-DOS mode with DOS based drivers installed .

* Running under Windows XP - In testing under Windows XP "Battle Chess" worked normally. At screen resolutions greater than 640X480 it does not play full screen (may require XP Compatibility Wizard to achieve the recommended 640X480 resolution), but was playable.

In testing under Windows XP, "Battle Chess II: Chinese Chess" played, but the graphics were "blocky" and the sound, with the default settings, played through the PC speaker only. Changing these settings may cause it to not play at all as you may encounter address and interrupt problems. This is a DOS based game.
