The new batch of Screen shots show some images of Chris and Sheva. Also some Zomibe dogs whose heads open up and reveal…well in a word teeth. They also show a giant deformed bat, that seems to splash some type of goo on Sheva.
The Lich King Rises The second expansion fromBlizzard, the long awaited Wrath of the Lich King has finally arrived. The Lich King has awakened and established his thrown in Northrend, and if the Alliance and Horde factions to not act maybe all of Azeroth. Here is our review for the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.
The Legend Long ago the land of the ancient wars, Northrend was part of a single continent until it broke free and drifted to the north. Separate from the rest of the world Northrend was ruled by the Nerubians who grew in power, and strength. Though the Nerubians had ruled for ages they soon were cut down by theLich King who was given power by the demon lord Kil’Jaeden to command an army of the undead. Resurrecting an ancient race the Vrykul from beneath the ice of the Northrend the Lich King soon laid waste to the Nerubians. Arthas met the Lich King in battle and shattered his frozen thrown and took his sword. Not knowing the enchantment placed on the blade by the demon lord, Arthmas’s soul was forever merged with it making him the new Lich King. Arthas soon after disappeared into the frozen wastes falling into slumber until he was awoke by Kil’Jaeden to command the undead army and conquer the land of Azeroth.
Game Play
Unless you have lived under a rock for the past few years you know that like the Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King is an expansion not a separate game. So you are getting the same type of game play you always had with WoW, but evolved. You will still get the standard quests such has “go kill these guys,” and “gather these mushrooms,” but they are few, over all the new quests are much more creative, and the majority of them are tied into the main plot witch was rare in the last expansion. Also the enemy encounters are much more creative, and realistic then ever before.
The content that has been added through this expansion is vast, and should keep fans at bay for a time. The first and most notable change is the new land you are able to explore, the Northrend; which includes such territories as IceCrown, DragonBlight, and Storm Peaks. All of them beautiful in design and unique to the World of WarCraft universe. Northrend is great addition to Azeroth and is new and unique realm to explore. The new realm will have enemies above level 70, giving you the ability to level up to a cap of 80, good news fro those who have conquered the Outland. The second must notable addition is the new class the Death Knights. If you are more of Horde kinda guy the pull of these new characters will be nearly irresistible, and very enjoyable. You will get to pillage, plunder, and reek having to your little black hearts desire. The other notable pieces of content added would be the siege weapons, which are accessible during…you guest it sieges, and very from catapults, to ballistas. More barbershops which will allow mullets now (very popular for the 80′ hair band fan’s), and the new achievement system in which your achievements will be visible for all other players to see.
Long Live the King If you are long time Wow addict you have probably already pre-ordered this title, but if you have recently gotten out of your WoW rut, this expansion is more then adequate to push you right back into a new one. Blizzard has evolved their universe, and designed a new realm of game play that is sure to keep the dedicated fans satisfied, and bring wayward ones back. With new content, evolved game play, and a vast new realm of adventure to explore Wrath of the Lich king is sure to satisfy your WoW fixation. We give the Wrath of the Lich King an A+ rating.

Fallout 3, the action RPG from Bethesda Softworks, which includes first person and third person perspective game play was released on October 28th, to the delight of droves of fans. All seemed right with the post apocalyptic, ash covered world. That is until complaints started popping up in the Bethesda PS3 forums. Soon after the complaints starting poring into the 360, and PC forums as well. What started as PS3 issue, has broadened to all other platforms that the game has been released for.
The issues that the consoles are having range from freezing, lagging, and crashing. Gamers have reported that the game has frozen, and lagged at various points in game play, and even crashed on occasion. The PC version is having the most complications of the three platforms when originally it had little to none. The issue began after a patch was downloaded and since then PC gamers have been complaining of the game completely locking up.
Bethesda has had this issue before when they had released Oblivian, and they eventually were able to remedy the issue, but the fact that that they could not use a little hindsight to prepare for this must be discouraging to fans. The amount of complications is staggering, and they continue to grow.
Now not to play devils advocate, but Bethesda has been working to try and remedy the issues, and they have post some troubleshooting exercises within their forum to help fans out. Hopefully these issue, although they bee many will be resolved soon. Here are the PS3, 360, and PC troubleshooting tips.
Here is our idea on how Bethesda can resolve this issue
The Second Installment in the Gears of War series from Epic Games hits the shelves today. Gears of War 2 the third person action shooter exclusively for Xbox 360, and is quite possibly the most anticipated game release this year.
The plot line of Gears 2 begins six months after the events of the first installment. You see the return of the games protagonist Marcus Fenix, as well as the COG Delta Squad. The Locust (subterranean creatures) have returned and regrouped after their defeat. They have created sink holes massive enough to swallow entire cities, this has tipped the scale of the war in the Locusts favor. Your goal as well as the Delta Squad’s and all COG forces is to defend the last human city from sinking underground.
It seems that Gears of War 2 carries the same type of game play that fans loved from the original title, and improves on its shortcomings. The single player mode is longer, it is said to be 10-12 hours long. The environments are much larger, and there are greater numbers of enemies you can battle. You have a new arsenal of weapons to choose from including the extra crispy flame thrower. Gears 2 continues the same type of trench warfare , but with with some new added feature, such as the unbelievably satisfying ability to use Locust enemies as a shield to deflect bullets.
Possibly the greatest strength of Gears 2 is it’s Multiplayer modes. The Online Multiplayer has a great deal of modes of play to choose from, including king of the hill, and the enjoyable horde, in which you and up to five players must battle large number’s of enemies attacking you in waves. It includes 10 maps available for play as well as 5 more available for download.
The general opinion is that Gears 2 is an excellent continuation in the Gears of War series. It improves on the shortcomings of the first title, and expands on the type of game play that fans of the series love. Overall Gears 2 is a great shooter. So ready your chainsaws and load your guns it’s here Today!

Left 4 Dead is the first person Zombie shooter published by Electronic Arts. It has generated a great deal of buzz for it’s concept, and type of game play. The game will feature a four person co-op, and you will have the option to play as the living or the living dead.
For fans of FPS, and Survival Horror games this demo should help curve the hunger for zombie carnage, until the games release date. The full demo goes worldwide Nov. 11th, and will run through till Nov. 18th. Left 4 Dead will hit the shelves Nov. 17th.
The juggernaut that is Wal-Mart has sat a supreme ruler in of the retail realm for quite some time now. According to Fortune Globe 500 Wal-Mart is the world’s largest public corporation by revenue. It is the largest grocery retailer, and toy retailer, and now it has apparently become Gamer Central.
In a recent IGN study titled “Are you Game Enough” revealed retail king Wal-Mart, has the best video game sales of any retailer. Best Buy and Game Stop/EB Games were tied in second, trailing by only 8% margin. Target was in third, and beyond that the number look bleak.
The highly anticipated Sci-Fi first person shooter Resistance 2, has finally been released. Exclusively a PS3 title, and developed by InsomniacResistance 2 continues the plot of the Resistance Fall of Man in which we see the return of the Chimera who have launched a campaign to conquer the United States. Nathan Hale the games protagonist has also returned and has joined a special task force known as The Sentinels, a group of individuals who are able to resists the Chimeran virus. Hale fights along side the sentinels to try and destroy the Chimeran race and liberate the US from their threat.
The new game includes new Chimeran enemies, the most notable, and most popular, the 300ft tall leviathan. The game has three basic modes of play campaign, cooperative, and competitive and each is said to consist of enjoyable game play. Within the campaign mode you are able to battle along side The Sentinels at multiple locations all on American soil. Within the competitive mode of the game you are able to battle up 60 individuals online within a single match.
From what we have heard the game play is great, and the plot is a good continuation of the first game. The only negative aspects of the game would be the graphics, which are not bad by any means, but are not quite the quality as other big titles like Gears of War2. Despite that small draw back it seems Resistance 2 is destined to be one of the great first person shooters, and will stand along side such great titles as Call of Duty, and Halo.
If you are a fan of the Sci-Fi game genre, or a fan of the first person shooter you will want to pick this game up. The general buzz is that it lives up to the original title.
These are in my humble opinion the five must have upcoming survival horror games. This is for the zombie slayers, monster hunters, and lovers of mayhem. It was our intention to post this video on Halloween, but better late than never.
For any of you who are in the dark about this here is a quick recap. Earlier this month we did a story on how Barack Obama was the first Presidential Candidate in History to campaign through ‘in-game’ advertising. Obama’s mug can now be seen in 18 Electronic Arts titles that he had bought advertising rights within. Xbox Live will be hosting the ads and they will be running until November 3rd. Holly Rockwood, the director of corporate communications at Electronic Arts stated “I can confirm that the Obama campaign has paid for in-game advertising.”
At the time Rockwood would not reveal how much the Senator had paid for these advertisements, but since the Obama campaign’s filling with the General Election Commission that figure has been revealed. Obama paid $44,465 smackers for in-game advertising with EA; not too expensive when you consider he is paying a cool million for each TV spot.
EA is not officially endorsing Obama, as Rockwood was quoted as saying “these ads do not reflect the political policies of EA or the opinions of its development teams.” According to GamePolitics some of EA’s higher-ups’ are Obama supporters. One of them being CEO John Riccitiello who has donated $4,600 to the Obama Campaign.
Lara Croft embarks on a new adventure in the 8th installment in the grave robbing saga, Tomb Raider Underworld. This is the third game in the series that Crystal Dynamics has developed, and the plot of the new game will continue where Tomb Raider Legendleft off.
The Demo which was released yesterday on Xbox Live, features the new environments, and game play that fans of the third person action shooter series can finally get a glimpse of. In Tomb Raider Underworld the environments are totally interactive, and hold memory. If Lara bends a shrubbery or breaks a tree branch it remains that way. The environments are meticulous in their design, and the development of Lara Croft has been just as detailed. Croft is said to have over 2,000 animations, and contextual movements, and for the first time in Tomb Raider history she has been motion captured, and the developers used Olympic gymnasts to sculpt her movements.
In terms of game play the demo features the new combat system in which Croft will be capable of shooting at two targets at once, and be able to melee enemies by kicking or vaulting off of them. The developers have also tweaked the platforming in the new game, in which the camera angels are more forgiving, and Croft will be capable of shooting at enemies while traversing planks, or hanging from ledges.
So load your guns and ready your daisy dukes because Tomb Raider Underworld will be in stores Nov. 21st. It will be released for PC, PS3, PS2, Nintendo Wii, DS, and Xbox 360.
