Cons: none
Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented
Been using an older version for 3 years and now have upgraded. This is a terrific product for developing an itinerary. Just add the cities you want to go en route to your final destination or just put in the final destination and the software does the rest. Better than mapquest and google. Lots of options including hotels, restaurants, etc along the way.
This is well worth the money.

Bought to replace 2004 version. Virtually nothing has changed. Maybe the maps are updated but wouldn't recommend. Just use Google maps or other free service that does about the same thing.

Describe Yourself: Value Oriented
This is a very handy program. I travel daily for work, my wife and I travel by car a lot on weekend trips.
I can use this program to find the easiest route, quickest route, but even better, to find alternate routes that prove to be more scenic when traveling for leisure.

Pros: Powerful, Fast, Easy To Navigate, Easy To Install
Describe Yourself: Value Oriented
Let me begin by saying that if you have never used Streets and Trips, I think you will be pleased with this mapping system. It has a lot of options and printing nice looking maps is easy.
I have used Streets and Trips since version 2000 and I like the user interface. I buy a new copy every couple of years to get the updated maps. My most recent version before this was 2006.
Someone gave me a copy of DeLorme Street Atlas with a GPS unit. I prefer the user interface of Streets and Trips, but the GPS unit would not work with my 2006 version of Streets and Trips. I was hoping it would work with the 2008 version. It does not.
I also bought this version because my 2006 version is missing a newer stretch of I355 around Chicago. The 2008 version is also missing that stretch of highway. I have not noticed any updates to the map, so I feel like I should have waited another year, should have purchased the version that has a GPS unit or both.
