I installed this on my new computer after reading positive online reviews. It was simple to install has a no nonsense user interface that keeps to the basics unless you want to drill deeper. I haven't found any operational shortcomings as of yet and I take that as a good sign of future performance. I don't think it's best of breed in any category, but it meets my needs especially at the price I paid.

I have used earier versions of this product and was not impressed with the firewall and the slow down caused by constant scanning. The 2010 version works well. The easy network application seems to have solved the firewall problems for people like me with a 3 computer home network.
McAfee does it's job.
