Pros: Good Quality, Easy Setup, Fast Setup
Cons: Expensive
Describe Yourself: Gear Head
I use the video cable every week for a project I do with friends. The previous reviewer said the headphone out doesn't send video. That's incorrect. The iPods do send video out of the "headphone" output. It's not the best quality, but it does.
iPhones do NOT send video out of the headphone and you MUST have the connector type that connects from the bottom of the unit. with the iPods, you may also use this and the quality and security of the connection will be better.
Great way to bundle audio, but NOT video

Primary Use: Personal
Pros: Lightweight, Adds Functionality, Good Protection, Stylish, Easy to Set Up, All in one, Durable
Cons: Does NOT play video
Describe Yourself: Casual User
I don't know why it claims to play videos for iPods on TV. The only way to play video out of iPod is to buy a special adapter that connects to the bottom of iPod. Its main port. No video can come out of the head phone jack. Their are some video cameras and players that can send video out through the head phone jack, called head phone RCA jacks, but iPod does not. Audio does go through though.
