This light works great for my application; I have it clipped on my lampshade and aimed to the laptop keyboard when I need the light its right at hand don't have to hear complaints because I had to turn on the big lamp while everyone else is watching TV.
This is a light duty unit and may need other users advice My only initial problem was the 3 button cells were not making good electrical connection and the light would go dim I used a half drop of contact cleaner and it was ok after.
