Primary Use: Personal
Pros: Original Story line
Cons: Almost like the old apple, Still Old Style format
Describe Yourself: Quality Oriented
I don't know I was a little dissapointed in the software, I figured a NEW version of the software might have better gameplay, but it still ran like the old apple version that I remember playing back in grade school. There were some things that improved over the old version but not to much. It is still a good game and I still play it, but really disappointed that it is not as improved or advanced as you would expect NEW versions to be.

Do not purchase this game for a Mac. This was a great game that my children have learned from and enjoyed. Unfortunately it will no longer run on a Mac system unless your running OS 9. It requires a font that is not present and can not be obtained. Customer service is not available, the game is not supported. Purchase at your own risk.

Oregon Trails is really an educational adventure for Juniors and Teens. My grandsons and their parents are living in southern Mexico. My wife and I took our purchase to them when we visited over Thanksgiving. We were very pleased to see how envolved Benjamin became with his adventure.
