FUN - cool product, but high maintenance

I loved this idea, cool product. But batteries dont last more than a few months, and it is very difficult to get to to work properly in original fashion once you replace the batteries. Very touchy to reinstall properly, and get it back to original factory functionality. That's probably why they are so cheap now - as opposed to the price I paid a couple years ago (ten times this), ...when they had the (not so) stainless steel colored version.
