The TZ 210 Series provides intelligent protection, business-class performance, advanced networking features and configuration flexibility in an affordable desktop appliance that’s easy to set up, operate and manage.

 

Unified Threat Management.
The TZ 210 Series offers application control, gateway anti-malware, intrusion prevention and content filtering on a high performance platform through its unified and simple management interface. The SonicWALL TZ 210 Series provides state-of-the-art security at a low total cost of ownership.

 

Application Intelligence.
SonicWALL provides real-time insight and control of network traffic broken down by applications, users and content through intuitive on-board visualization.  The ability to prioritize important applications, throttle down unproductive applications and block unwanted application components ensures an efficient and safe network.


Gateway Anti-Malware and Intrusion Prevention.
Tightly integrated, signature based Gateway Anti-Virus, Anti-Spyware and Intrusion Prevention protect against a comprehensive array of network and application layer threats by scanning packet payloads for attacks and exploits targeting critical internal systems. This provides a first layer of defense by stopping malware before it can reach systems on your network.

 

Multi-WAN Failover. The TZ 210 Series support WAN failover across either multiple Ethernet interfaces or to an external USB 3G or analog modem, to ensure uptime that is critical to many small businesses and retail deployments.

 

Powerful Secure Remote Access. Integrated SSL VPN technology enables clientless, remote access to computers, email, files and applications from a variety of platforms as well as full network access through NetExtender™. Users can also use IPSEC VPN to connect to the TZ 210 Series with a Global VPN Client.

 

Wireless LAN services. The TZ 210 Wireless-N integrates ultra-fast 802.11n WLAN capabilities for secure, high-speed connectivity with the ability to create multiple virtual SSIDs (Virtual Access Points) for secure segmented wireless access. Additionally, the TZ 210 Wireless-N applies all Deep Packet Inspection security services to wireless traffic for extra WLAN protection.

 
 Gigabit Connectivity.
Gigabit ports allow you to connect the TZ 210 to an office gigabit switch for faster internal access.

SonicOS is engineered to reduce risk, cost and complexity by integrating state-of-the-art deep packet inspection firewall, wireless and VPN technologies to deliver comprehensive protection and maximum performance.

SonicWALL Reassembly-Free Deep Packet Inspection™ technology scans against multiple application types and protocols to protect against internal and external threats at both the application layer and the network layer.2


Intuitive management.
Powerful set-up wizards make it easy to quickly set up VPN Tunnels, policies and network rules, which can then be fine-tuned through an intuitive Web interface. All application and signature updates are obtained automatically by the firewall and are effective immediately without reboots or downtime. A management LCD screen eases deployment and integration in a data-center.

Your network will continue to operate without interruption even if there is a hardware or software failure with Active/Passive failover. Stateful synchronization across the appliances enables failover without interruption to existing network traffic and VPN tunnels.
